PokerStars buy-in and
cash out service
InterCash Pty Limited (ACN 133 970 288) is an approved Transfer
Affiliate of PokerStars. Details of the service provided by InterCash
through PokerStars is as follows:
Buying-in to PokerStars
You can deposit AUD$, NZD$ or USD$ into one of InterCash's accounts
and we will transfer the USD$ equivalent into your PokerStars account
as soon as we can confirm that your deposit has been cleared. For AUD
deposits we use the Westpac spot sell exchange rate for T/T’s. For NZD$ we use the BNZ cheque sell rate.
This will work out far better than using a credit card and being
charged around 2% on a much worse exchange rate. There is no charge for
the currency conversion and you will also be eligible for any deposit
bonuses that PokerStars may offer from time to time.
After you have made a deposit please make a transaction request so that
we can check the relevant bank account. When filling out the request,
the system will want to know which account you made the deposit into and
also what your PokerStars player ID is so we can make the USD$ transfer
to you (please add these banking details
if you haven't already). If you make an AUD$ deposit at a branch of
one of the CBA or ANZ or via the internet banking facility of one of
these banks, then we should be able to confirm it immediately.
Transfers from banks other than those will usually get processed the
next business day.
Cashing out from PokerStars
For PokerStars players from Australia or New Zealand who would like to cash out, we can help as follows:
Transfer the amount you want to withdraw to InterCash's PokerStars player ID: InterCash and fill out a transaction request notifying us that you have made a transfer. Please ensure you have filled in your bank account details
in the transaction request and we will transfer the AUD$ (or NZD$) into
your bank account within 24 hours via internet banking. We will
convert the USD$ into AUD$ using the Westpac spot buy rate for T/T’s or into NZD$ using the BNZ cheque buy rate. There is no charge for the currency conversion or for using the service. 
Australian/NZ players
• PokerStars will continue to pay the commission on behalf of players on all buy-ins through the InterCash service.
•
InterCash will not charge any commission on cash-outs if your cash-out
amount does not exceed the amount you have deposited through InterCash
since 1 July of the current financial year and your cash-out is being
sent to an Australian or NZ bank account.
• Cash-outs in excess
of the amount you have deposited since 1 July of the current financial
year will be charged a commission of 2.5% where your cash-out is being
sent to an Australian or NZ bank account.
• Where your cash-out
is not being sent to an Australian or NZ bank account a premium of 1%
will apply. For USD cash a premium of 3% will apply and a discount of
.5% will apply if the funds are to be transferred to another site.
Non-Australian/NZ players
• The general rule is that PokerStars will not permit transfers
between either our ‘InterCash’ account or the ‘GaryBenson’ account and
accounts that aren’t registered in Australia or New Zealand. Some
exceptions may apply in special circumstances. |
